This shawl is made with only one ball of the new yarn: Ortica 400 by Borgo de’ Pazzi. It’s made out of 100% Ramie.(family of the Nettle) It looks like wool but also like silk. And it behaves like both. It is light and it stays in shape very well. It is a 1ply but surprisingly strong. Also, it knits up beautifully.
One ball was enough to make a scarf 30cm wide and 150cm long! So two balls… or three. You could make it wider and longer! The pattern has a repeat so that’s easy.
Great for the summer!
